Diocesan Anniversary of 50 Years

Sunday, November 9th, Solemn Mass at 3:00 p.m. St. Catherine of Alexandria Cathedral and followed by Banquet at Club Roma. Parish representation: Mr.& Mrs. Frank Tucker and Mr.& Mrs. Clyde Head.

Gift To St Patrick's Parish

Knights of Columbus Council 1394 makes a donation of a picture of St Patrick to St Patrick's ParishAt their recent Centennial Celebrations on March 28th the Knights of Columbus Council 1394 donated a recently discovered 100 year old picture of St Patrick to St Patrick's Parish. The Knights very kindly had the picture restored and presented it to Fr. Chris.

Lay Ministries

All new schedules are now available. If you cannot make your scheduling, please call Doreen Tucker so that she can arrange a replacement. Tel: 905 685-8228

The ministry of reader and altar server is vital for good liturgy. Please try and be punctual for these ministries by arriving at least 15 mins prior to the celebration. All Lay Ministers are asked to find a replacement if they cannot be in attendance for their scheduled ministry. Extra-ordinary Ministers of the Eucharist please wash your hands prior to obtaining the Eucharist from the tabernacle. Outer coats must be removed when giving Holy Communion and a Sunday best dress code is in effect for ALL!

    Every Friday from 4:00-4:30 p.m. Food Delivery
  • Catholic Women’s League—CWL:
    First Tuesday of the month. Mass at 6:30 p.m. followed by Meeting in the hall.

Parish Devotional Life

  • Recitation of Rosary after Weekday Mass.
  • Charismatic Prayer Group
    Wednesday evening 7:30 p.m., in the church.
  • Parish First Friday
    Holy Hour 9:30 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. Followed by Solemn Benediction.

Parish New Members

New members can register either by phone, email or by picking up a new box of parish envelopes at all entrances. Please confirm your membership within one month of attendance. Call Parish Priest for a pastoral home visit.

Parish Bulletin Deadline

Parish bulletin will be printed each Thursday morning. Deadline in writing only by each Tuesday at noon to the parish office. Please email your notice which is subjected to editing. Thank you.

Parish Mission Appeal

The Diocese ask us each year to support a Missionary Appeal. We have been invited to support the Archdiocese of Trivandrum, India. This "Appeal" will take place the weekend of June 27th/28th, 2009. Rev. Fr. Raju Selvaraj Pilla will be our missionary guest, celebrant and speaker. The collection will be taken the following weekend July 4th/5th, 2009. More information will be pending. Year of the Priest

In 2002 Pope John Paul II established a World Day of Prayer for Priests to be observed on the Solemnity of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. This year the World Day of Prayer will be observed on June 19, the Feast of the Sacred Heart. This Day of Prayer will also mark the opening of the Year for Priests. All Catholics are encouraged to remember their priests through prayer, the celebration of the Mass, and Eucharistic adoration on June 19th, and throughout the Year for Priests.
